Google E Book Library Broken World Copyright Act Laws

Google desires to make world’s biggest e library. Nevertheless, they have copied content of Indian writers and publishers without giving acknowledgment. Few US based publishers have taken content from Indian books without proper information. IRRO (Indian Repographic Rights Organisation) and FIP (Federation of Indian Publishers) has objected Google for breaking copyrights law. Germany and France Government has also filed their objection according to world copyright breaking acts.

GBS (global book settlement) provides a great platform in front of publishers to publish book and get revenue. Google has scanned Indian author’s books and scanned those books in its language, which is the breaking of copyright acts.

It has been biggest issue in front of Google. IRRO and FIP with Germany & France Government have taken objection for copying contents of Authors. Next hearing will be on US court on 4 Feb, 2010.
