Something different in Romcom “Ek Main or Ek Tu”

The Director and Producer Mr. Karan Johar are upcoming film “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” creating a buzz in discussions. “The film is inspired by Hollywood Director Woody Allen’s style of filmmaking” Karan says.

The movie is produced under Karan’s own banner “Dharma Production” and directed by Shakun Batra. This is something new which is doing by Shakun. Shakun is a big fan of Woody Allen. As a result of that, you would see a lot of conversation happening here. “In this romcom film “Ek Main or Ekk Tu” you would notice that there are some walk-talk sequences like in many Hollywood’s romcom films where just you and camera in motion.” Johar said.

The great Producer-Director Karan Johar, who is famous for his romantic films, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, My Name is Khan, Kabhi Alvida naa Kehna and Wake up Sid also said that such films are far more difficult to do than in conventional cinema.

“It is far tougher to find the connectivity among the audiences since there are no buffers like dramatic pauses, background score, and props to enhance a scene. It all depends upon the actors what they doing their talk and tricks to hold the viewer’s attention.” He said.

Kareena and Imran works together for the first time in the big screen. Ek Main or Ek Tu also making the headlines for its unusual pair.

Karan says about Imran & Kareena’s character in the film that they coud get real life personality in this film. Imran is meant to be very perfectionist young man in this film. He is very focused about his life and let himself go. While, on the other hand, Kareena is a Geet type character of Jab We Met in this film who loves modern culture. This movie is all about the two different people (Imran & Kareena) who marry each other after a drunken night in Las Vegas. This movie is coming to rock the theatres on 10th February.
